A quiet session for you
an invitation to silence
As we transition from autumn into the darker days of winter, we find we have more time for spirit — for meditation and contemplation.
As a natural inward turning begins to unfold at this time of year, we can discover the treasures of the inner room, the interior landscape. If you’re seeking a guide in this, I may be able to accompany and support you. Those of all faiths and none are welcome.
On 30 November, I will randomly select one paid subscriber here for a free 60 minute one to one Quiet Session with me in December this year.
To be eligible, you simply need to have an active paid subscription to Silentium on the day of 30 November. Your subscription can be a founding, annual, or monthly subscription.
Quiet Sessions are an opportunity to meet me one to one for spiritual direction and contemplative practice support.
If you’ve been considering booking a one to one session with me for a while, perhaps today is the day you hear that call. You can book a session via my website. The next Quiet Sessions available to new clients are from Thursday 4 December.
On 30 November I will announce the selected reader, who will receive confirmation and instructions on how to book the session by email, and will be announced here. Please let me know when I message you of your free session if you prefer to remain anonymous, I’m happy to honour that. It is also possible to gift your Quiet Session to someone else.
Together, we can navigate even the most challenging of life and spiritual transitions.
A trained, qualified, and experienced meditation instructor, contemplative prayer guide, and spiritual director, I welcome those of all faiths and none — all are eligible to take this journey with me.
Sessions in person are available online via Zoom, and in person here in Cornwall.

I’m available again for Quiet Sessions and Discovering Silence sessions from Thursday 4 December, when I return after this period of rest. My posts here in Silentium will also resume from 4 December.
Thank you for continuing to hold this space for me to take time out to honour my sister’s life and passing, and for a much needed period of rest. I was booked to take time away for personal retreat in Portugal this month, but plans had to change to accommodate much needed time with family around the time of my sister’s funeral.
I appreciate your ongoing support for Silentium, and the wider scope of my work. Remember, Silentium is our place, not my place — we are a community here.
Go well dear friends.
