Singing Bowl | Deep Fade | 0m 56s | Listen in headphones at a low volume
This singing bowl audio is the first of my forthcoming Calm Tones collections.
Calm Tones Vol. 1 is currently in progress, as I craft a range of calm ringtones and mindful notifications. These will include mindfulness and meditation bells, and other quiet and calm creations for your phone, to aid you remember where your true power of attention should rest.
Please note, the Calm Tones project will not replace my usual posts here, but is intended to be a useful addition that you can incorporate in your life, spiritual practice, or your own teachings, talks, meditations, or yoga classes for example.
If you’re a paid subscriber, I will provide discount codes for you, as they will soon also be available to purchase and download via my website.
With these installed, your phone can become an invitation to rest in the presence of being, a call from the heart of silence and stillness.
Imagine a beautiful deep singing bowl ringing out with its deep resonance and long presence as your morning alarm each day, instead of some jittery digital alarm clock sound. Which do you think will start you off your day in the best way?
I switched my own alarm to the deep singing bowl that I shared today, and it has shifted my response to my morning alarm. It immediately attracts my attention, returning to presence before I put my first foot on the floor. It reminds me not to start out in a jittery rush too. Instead, as the deep sound of the bowl ringing out for more than 30 seconds, such is its resonance that I sit up, and pause, checking in as I shift from sleep to awake.
Calm Tones is the first of a number of new contemplative projects I have been working on to share with you, dear community of friends. These will include samples, meditation bells, meditation timer audios opening and closing with a bell a little like this, there will be mindfulness bells, ringtones, and notification tones.
This is blessed work my friends, and it’s an honour to be able to share it with you. It’s likely to be some weeks before the packs are complete, but I will share the occasional audio file with you along the way, and intend to add some simple instructions on installing it. This one will be for you to test out, if you wish to do that.
Calm Tones | Vol. 1 will initially be available free as a part of your paid membership of the Silentium community here, or a paid subscription over on Patreon for £5 a month or above. They will also be available to buy from my website, for those who prefer to purchase them outright, rather than be a paid subscriber.
Stay subscribed to hear more on this Silentium project, and a couple of other small projects arising to be shared with you all in the coming days.
Please do a quick search to choose the best way to import the audio to your device. There are so many variants now, you need to find the one that matches your set up. I will however be adding basic support notes with the full pack in the future.
Download it to your phone, tablet, or computer, and use it for your meditations, your alarm in the mornings, as a mindfulness bell, or some other kind of timer. This tone is not so suitable as a ringtone or notification tone, as it has a particular length, quality and tone that is more suited to the suggestions above.
