Good day dear friends.
I have been travelling today, and will be based a little way up the coast from home here in Cornwall, England until next weekend, taking care of a friend’s pets, home, plants, and land.
It is a time of rest, of stillness, and of seeing what shows up, allowing for all possibilities. A time of walks in the salt air, watching young moorhens on the pond, feeding goldfinches, and of owls so at ease here at Owl Cottage, that they call in the day, as well as the night. It is an enchanting place.
Already, out of this deepening sense of peace, I wish to share a note to let you know that I feel drawn to host a group Zoom space, for prayers for world peace.
Earlier today, I received prayer requests through friends and community members for family and friends desperately trying to fly to safety with their family here in Europe, from Iran and Israel. It is clear that this is a time of immense significance for us all, and I call on you all — prayer leaders, light workers, frequency holders, come one, come all — all are welcome. This is a time to gather in unity, a communion of the heart.
In the past, I used to lead weekly prayers and for world peace for a Buddhist Centre here in the UK, after 9/11. A Sufi friend, of the Naqshbandi lineage has been holding prayers for world peace weekly for some time now.
I feel called to host a second weekly Zoom space — most of you here are familiar with my Sunday silent group gathering, The Silence: a gathering in stillness. It will be in addition to this, not a replacement. I am considering what day and time might be best for this, and at the moment, it looks like a Saturday early evening, London time.
If this is something you would like to join, let me know what time range might be possible for you, and do please leave a comment here or over in Silentium’s Substack notes, message me here on Substack, or email me.
If you know of other groups offering prayers for world peace, please share with me in a private message or email, as I am putting a page together which I will host on my website, to draw together prayer spaces that can serve us all.
More details to follow — keep an eye out for updates to this post, and in notes, I’ll share as soon as I have a time sketched out.
Until then, peace be upon you, within you, and all around you dear friends.
Peace in myself — peace in the world.
